Photography - Trying to sort through the backlog

Currently I'm trying to sort through the 190 odd GB backlog of photos that need sorting or processing or both. I finally have a work flow which I will detail in a future blog. Technical - EasyPeasy

EasyPeasy......its a distro of Linux based on Ubuntu. So why should you care? Because it does what 99% of people need from a laptop from the default and easy installation without any faffing about. Easy Peasy is really designed for Netbooks, it gives you some of those typical Netbook interfaces that contains large icons that you click on to load the specified application. Though unlike some other specific Netbook interfaces it's not limited out of the box. I have admin tools, I have access to the CLI, I have access to my network shares. Other than that I have pre-installed all the video codecs I need, it just works with my hardware. Also it formats really well on a full sized laptop. It got my Grand parents online. I use it on my netbook and never found it lacking. Odd Bits - I now have a week off.....

Yes I now have a week off........in theory.........unless something seriously fails........or breaks.......but thinking positively..........I have a week off. I've been very busy as usual but have burned out recently so need the break and to deal with a few things that usually carry a lesser priority. (Like updating this site). So yeah I may post some stuff, I may even replace the site completely and move to Wordpress. (I only use this site for blogging so having a wordpress based site may make this easier). Other then that I have some paper work to catch up with and photos to digitally process.
